So … HELLO !
I saw last days many posts with the “What’s your Digits?” – Theme for Strawberry Singh’s latest meme – What’s your Digits? – Take 3: Proportions Challenge.
And i thought it’s fun to do it too. 🙂
Proportions Challenge Questions:
- Do you try and keep your avatar’s body proportionate and similar to the “average” proportions pictured above? – I didn’t care about it before AND i don’t care about it now. When i like my shape it’s not important for me. When i have a look at the “VERY GENERAL AVERAGE PROPORTIONS” my avatar looks most like the 12 years old girl. What ever … In the last 6 years in SL my shape changes a lot, but i was always a small one ^^. Currently i step back from this “I made my hips very wide, because i love to see a pig running through my legs” – thing.
- What do you dislike the most about the SL avatar mesh? – The hands and the feet ( the most do it ). So THANK YOU for this wonderful mesh hands and mesh feet. The crotch is a thing i also dislike sometimes. The rest is ok for me.
- Does it bother you when you see other avatars that are not proportionate at all? – No. Why should it bother me? It makes me smile sometimes… Ok in the last weeks i smile very often. But thats all. I don’t care. But i was very surprised to see how many people are feeling bothered by this. When someone loves his shape ( even if it’s not perfect ) it is 100% ok for me. And for the other ones : Zoom somewhere else… ! =)
- Even though this is a virtual world and people can be anything they want to be, do you feel when they are in human form, they should try to keep their proportions close to average? – No. They should look like what they want. I don’t think we have the right to expect it.
